Upswell is a digital communications consultancy located in Portland, Oregon.
We devise creative strategies to craft a wide array of purposeful and beautiful media—from online films to Web sites to environmental installations. This means that in addition to creating what you see on the screen, we help our clients figure out ways to share and convey their ideas, and to position their endeavors.
Why? Because we believe well–conceived multimedia experiences can spark innovation, inspiring engagement and participation. People not only want to be enthralled; they also want to have a sense of possibilities and good reasons to act.
The modern digital landscape is a powerful arena for creating opportunities to advance the common good. We avidly interpret the theories and practices of this arena, with an eye to bringing people together around projects that raise awareness, build community, and nurture cultural vitality. But we don't merely give directions or throw out ideas; our goal is to make projects happen.
We are committed to listening to your needs and fostering intelligent dialogue—our version of sense and sensibility. And in the process, we design solutions that support your mission and values, enrich your brand, and surpass your expectations of what can be achieved.
Enough said. Get in touch, let's start a conversation.
RIPPLE | Views and Voices from the Rural Northwest
Upswell overhauled RIPPLE to help the site better meet its original mission to connect rural communities to each other and share their stories with people across the region. We refocused the site on rural bloggers experiences and rich media, while developing a simple tool for posting local opportunities.
